Give our kids a better deal
PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) --  The opposition party vice president Kem Sokha expressed hope that Pung Chhiv Gech can ensure free and fair election in Cambodia.

Sokha made the comment after Pung Chhiv Kek, director of human rights group LICADHO, accepted the request for her to be the ninth member of the reformed National Election Committee.

"Mrs. Pung Chhiv Kek is the person who defines the destiny of free and fair election in Cambodia," Sokha posted Tuesday on his Facebook page.

"I believe that she will held salvage the Cambodian election and make it truly free and fair," he said.

Pung Chhiv Kek, 71, said yesterday that she was committed to fulfilling her task the best to ensure that the next election will be acceptable to the majority of the Cambodian citizens.
