Oh, my God, look at the guy touch monk's shoulders from behind. Is this a Vietnamese secret agent? It is just out of his mind. He has no religion at all.

Why, what is going to happen to him 5:27? Isn't he also will become holy as the monks are by touching them?

My opinion: those monks are no worse than the common people are. Because people elevated them into monkhood does not mean that they are holy than thou attitude. They have not escaped the desire of the flesh as non monks men do. This is the fallacy of Khmer's beliefs. Men are corrupt beings, don't worship them.

Looks like the lay persons and the monks are buddies in real life.

This is how the CPP-Vietnamese have been buying and bribing off Khmer people, particularly, those with social standing or weight within society/community like the youths and members of the clergy.

Whilst these folks - from monks, youths to King and his clans - are intoxicated with a life of excesses [good foods, good wine, Vietnamese women, endless partying, and idle lifestyle ...] their little worlds will always be perfect.

And why change a world that is already [sensuously] perfect?! Those in detention, senselessly beaten in the streets by cops must be either mad, extremists or both ... and are, of course, deserving of what's coming to them ...

This 2 head of monk wear Buddhist robe but possess Yuon traitor heart . May be these head monk in bed with the corrupt, moral deficiency religious minister so long that they shamelessly come out with idea to do a restriction with non sense like this .

Most monks in cambodia nowadays are in it for the money ...there still are some good ones but people have to travel to remote area to find them... those monks who reside in the city are there for education and money ... some of them own new cars and live in luxurious home --- just sad the religion is being destroyed by greed... soon buddhism will join the likes of catholic and other christian religion which all that MATTER is money and power to influence and controlled politicians and people ... catholic is famous for child abuse/rape and have billions of dollars stashed in their own bank in Rome...

Begin of Drgunzet's comment.

The Khmer monks are low class. Look at the table, the water glasses are still upside down, unused. The monks are drinking out of their bottles.

I have serious trouble seeing the monks appearing to be well fed. I expect to see the Khmer monks to be skinny, dry and suffering in such a poor country.

I bet you I have a flatter tummy than most Khmer monks.
