IF THE CNRP’S LEADERS MADE MISTAKES, KHMER PEOPLE SHOULD NOT MAKE BAD DECISIONS TO EXACERBATE CAMBODIA’S PROBLEMS

Since the CNRP joined the National Assembly, there have been severe clash of opinions among Khmer people. Some people have unreservedly condemned the CNRP’s leaders for such decision, claiming and predicting that the CNRP will be the second FUNCINPEC. Some people have planned to create another party, arguing that they no longer trust the CNRP for its role to save Cambodia. By contrast, a large number of people still support the CNRP.

As we all have known, after the election, the CNRP has mounted many peaceful demonstrations denouncing the Yuon’s puppet party CPP for the election’s irregularities with fruitless result.

This failure should be a valuable lesson for us to learn for future peaceful demonstration. We will never get what we wanted if we were afraid to die. We must stand our ground to face this barbaric Yuon’s slave regime. This expansionist Vietnam had lost many of its soldiers during its invasion in 1979, and it will never give up Cambodia without a big fight from Khmer people. Therefore, the CNRP’s rhetoric that said “we don’t want to see Khmer people die“ will never work for its crusade to save Cambodia from this pest Vietnam. It should be changed to: “peaceful demonstration but ready to sacrifice our lives to save Cambodia”.

In my opinion, this is one area that the CNRP needs to improve because after this next election a similar scenario will come up again. We must be PREPARED to challenge Hun Sen and his master Vietnam: win or LOSE in this next election, Hun Sen will not step down and the evil Vietnam will not give up Cambodia.

Only through a massive sacrifice from our people that will attract the 1991 Paris Peace Accord signatory countries to come back and enforce such treaty and end this evil Vietnam’s dominance over Cambodia. We must help ourselves first before they can move in to help us.

Khmer people should learn to have patience, perseverance, understanding, and tolerance amongst themselves.

They need to view the problem from every angle.

For instance, the CNRP has done so many good deeds for Cambodia already. One important element that Khmer people have overlooked was the solid union of the Sam Rainsy party and the HR party. In the past, we were never able to unite the political parties together. They had always broken up after staying together for a while, melting down in front of the Yuon’s tactic.

But, the CNRP has firmly stayed united. We must appreciate that accomplishment. The CNRP, especially Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha, has proven to Khmer people that it has brilliantly transcended one social barrier: it had united and it stays united, repulsing the notion that Khmer people cannot stay united. That is very important.

And thanks to the CNRP, Khmer people in the whole country have involved heavily with the social events in Cambodia, strengthening their chance to liberate Cambodia from the evil Vietnam.
At this moment it is all right for some people to create another party, to gather all the people who have been dissatisfied with the CNRP after it joined the National Assembly.

BUT their efforts – creating a new party - will be productive if and only if they integrate their newly created party with the CNRP when the new election time approaches. Refusing to combine the new party with the CNRP would only benefit Vietnam and its slave Hun Sen.

Finally, I would like to solemnly exhort to Khmer people to please have patience and avoid doing something strange that would end Cambodia’s existence. After the CNRP got the power to replace the Yuon’s slave party CPP, then they can create more parties without destroying Cambodia’s interest. But at this moment, cutting Vietnam’s grip over Cambodia must be the top priority for every Khmer. And staying united with the CNRP is the right thing to do.

Begin of Drgunzet's comment.

So, what's the deal now...Sam Rainsy is quiet about the imprisoned CNRP's officials?

Someone must be punished for the drop of Cambodian garment export right? You play this game, "Give me power or I attack the garment factories", you must pay the price.

I urge Mr. Hun Sen to protect the garment industry at all cost. Go ahead and use capital punishment on these evil politicians. They will cause more Cambodian parents selling their children into slavery and prostitution.
