His visa has expired and the government wont renew it but dogged environmental activist Alejandro Gonzalez-Davidson says he's going no where.
The fluent Khmer speaking co-founder of the belligerent NGO Mother Nature has become something of a celebrity in the Kingdom and a thorn in the government's side.
On the day that his visa expired, Gonzalez-Davidson sat down with State of Play and explained why he believes the government has nothing to gain by deporting him.

Alex G Davidson is standing up for all Khmers,he is a NGO,who believes in a priceless of mother nature has provide us life,since we exist.It is hard to explain for our people,who had never been living in a country,that has not much tree and wild life. We are so blessed that our ancestors have settle in a goldenland,which has a river run through and mostly cover by rainforest and varieties of wildlifes. One should realise that all of these are worth trillions of dollars or even more than that,because we human can not replace mothernatue with machine that provide rain lean air and food or even medicines. 99.9% of medicineshould come from mothernatue.
Above all the values as in economics,that we can be. estimated,motherearth is a living thing,and she is the only planet in the entire universe to have life,and life itself is mysterious.it is greater than E=mc2.
We are so grateful to Alex,who lives thousand milles away,happened to travel and could not walk away from this trouble land that he found people and mother nature are being raped and savagely abused.
We all should turn up at the airport in thousands to let him know that we support him and greafull to him,if the evil force him to leave. Friend in need is friend indeed.
