The final chapter of my journey through Cambodia

In front of Ta Pronh Temple
This is the last blog I will write about my journey through Cambodia.  It makes me sad to write those words.  It was such an amazing journey and it is now over.
I ended my last entry writing about my ride to the airport.  I was traveling on a standby ticket on Korean Air on an 11:40pm flight to Seoul.  I had been told there was only one seat left so I was a bit apprehensive about my chances of getting on.  But I did!   I was given a boarding pass and I could scarcely believe it!  It wasn’t until the wheels turned that I was able to relax.  After a long 5 hour sleepless night, I landed in Seoul, Korea at 6:30 in the morning.  I now had 11 hours to kill before my fight back to Vancouver.
I was so impressed with Incheon Airport.   I had passed through this airport before when I was a flight attendant but I had never spent any time in it and I have to say, it’s incredible!  It is no wonder that it has been rated the best airport in the world for nine years in a row since 2005.   Although I personally didn’t see these, there is also a golf course, private sleeping rooms, ice skating rink, a casino and indoor gardens.  I was directed to a transit lounge that blew me away.  There were reclining couches and lounge chairs scattered throughout the area, free showers, an area for massages and restaurants.  Even tho there were continual announcements, I used my ear plugs and was able to get a few hours sleep which made a world of difference. Read the whole story here.
