PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- The US first lady Michelle Obama, spouse of President Barack Obama, has thanked Bun Rany, wife of Prime Minister Hun Sen and President of Cambodia Red Cross, for warmly welcoming her during the visit in Cambodia.
In a letter dated 30 March and was obtained by media on 9 May, the first lady also thanked Bun Rany for giving her a beautiful silver tray.
"I would like to thank Samdech Kittipritbandith for warm welcome during my visit in Cambodia as well as giving a souvenir," she said in the letter.
"I greatly appreciate the youth we have met at the school under project 'Room to Read', and I will remember all memories in Cambodia."
"Once again, I would like to thank Samdech Kittipritbandith for coordinate my visit," she said.
